In early 2007 The Pennington Hotel was beautifully refurbished by Iona Frost-Pennington of Muncaster Castle to give quality surroundings and a comfortable setting to the visitors of the Western Lakes.

We boast 21 luxury bedrooms, The Rosette accredited Estuary Restaurant, well furnished Bar Lounge and a relaxing Morning Room.

The Pennington Lodgings,  Newtown House, Knotts View, again overlooking the Estuary Bay and reflecting the best in self catering accommodation. Both properties are within walking distance of the Ratty Railway, The Roman Bath House. For those who enjoy Bird Watching from the shores, walks on the beach, Hiking and exploring the Smugglers Haunts they are the ideal locations.

HERBERT HOUSE - JULY 2008

 A new holiday cottage overlooking the Estuary Bay in the heart of Ravenglass. A tastefully restored period house situated within the only coastal village in the Western Lake Distict.

Ths house will accommodate up to 10 people and will be availible for 7 or 3 night stays from July 2008.
